World Wide Technology is now looking for ambitious and enthusiastic school leavers to join their Technical Sales Associates programme in September 2023. You would join as part of their global team, work with other highly motivated individuals, and follow a cutting-edge technical sales programme that covers WWT’s vision, mission, core values, lines of business, and account planning.

Here’s what the Technical Sales Associate programme at WWT offers:

  • Training in business and sales methodology, WWT’s go-to-market strategy, technology competency, best practices, and deal fundamentals.

  • Mentors to guide and support your professional growth.

  • Job shadowing opportunities in sales and support organisations to gain real-world experience across the business.

  • Cohorts that provide support, camaraderie, and networking opportunities.

HCSW careers webinar southeast England.

This online event through Microsoft Teams will give you the chance to hear form people working as healthcare support workers (HCSW) in various roles in the NHS across the southeast region of England. The event will explore how you can choose to work as a HCSW (care assistant/nursing assistant) in many different settings such as hospitals, out in the community, and visiting people’s homes. We will also give an overview of the different types of roles such as caring for patients that are acutely unwell, working in mental health services, supporting people that have learning disabilities, maternity services and working with babies, children or adults. HCSW is a fantastic job and it also has great career opportunities if that is something you wish to pursue, such as apprenticeships to become a registered nurse, ‘earn while you learn’ and get a university degree.

This event is suitable for school and college leavers, for military families and for anyone seeking a new career in the healthcare sector, even those that know they want to go to university as a medical student, paramedic, physiotherapist or nurse, coming and getting a year or so hands on experience as a HCSW will give you so much more knowledge and insight. UP for Uni programme

The UP for Uni programme is a sustained programme of activity, run by the University of Portsmouth.

The programme aims to provide young people with opportunities to not only learn about university. But also to help young people understand the range of pathways available to them, including options when leaving secondary school, right through to higher education.

Students do not have to be currently thinking about going to university in order to take part in the trips and activities offered. The programme hopes to provide experiences that will help the young people to make informed choices about their future, that is right for them and their individual circumstances.

Opportunities include:

Taking part in subject taster activities
Workshops covering themes such as revision skills, degree apprenticeships, GCSE choices and more
Chance to explore the university campus & halls of residence
