The Isle of Wight

The Isle of Wight is a fantastic place to live and work. You will find stunning coastal scenery, internationally famous music and sailing events and lower than average house prices for the south of England.

Located just 6 miles from the south coast, transport links to Southampton and Portsmouth are fast and frequent. You can be in London in as little as two hours!

The Isle of Wight is steeped in history and culture. For example, Osborne House in East Cowes was once home to Queen Victoria, and King Charles I was held captive for a year at Carisbrooke Castle.

Over 50% of the Isle of Wight is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and there are over 500 miles of well-maintained public footpaths. The annual walking festival in the summer attracts visitors from all around the world.
