The IWEF Creative Arts Faculty is an inspiring and supportive environment for students to be creative and find their voice. It is one of the most active faculties in the Federation, with staff working across three main teaching areas, Art, Music, and Drama. As students move through the school, they are afforded pathways in additional specialisms such as Graphics, Photography, and Music Technology at Key stages 4 and 5, and beyond with our ‘Foundation in Art’ pre-University course.
We provide specialist spaces and equipment to allow our students to develop their own creativity beyond the traditional classroom in our Music studios, Photography dark rooms, and Theatre spaces. Our extensive year-round extra-curricular programme allows students to collaborate and get involved with shows and performances, community outreach projects and Art gallery exhibitions, we hold strong links with outside agencies such as Quay Arts and the Isle of Wight Festival.
