Year 12 Geographers visit Briddlesford Farm

Year 12 geography students visited Briddlesford Farm on Thursday to investigate how rural areas can be regenerated.  We were treated to an informative history of regeneration on the farm and conducted surveys about environmental quality and identity.

During an interview with farmers Chris and Judy, we learnt about how the farm encourages social progress and were pleased to hear about how the business invests in their staff and kept everyone onboard during these last difficult two years.

The students loved getting in close to the animals and enjoyed learning about how farms like Briddlesford can have a positive impact on people and the environment.  After a glass of milk and one last stroke of the calves, we came back to VI Form to present and write up our findings.
