It has been the turn of our Year 10 students to experience trial exams under exam conditions this week. We have made the expectations the same as they will be required to adhere to next summer. This is an important part of their exam preparation as it takes away the fear of the unknown and means by the time their real exams arrive, the logistics, routines and requirements will be embedded and therefore their concentration can be completely focused on their subject knowledge and revision.
Next Tuesday, 4 July we are hosting our new Year 6 into 7 students, and giving them the opportunity to experience ‘a day in the life of a secondary school student’. We are very much looking forward to welcoming them.
You will have received a letter regarding next Wednesday and Friday, as they are the next two days of industrial action by the NEU. Please ensure that you read the letter, a copy can be found here.
