Environmental Sustainability Projects

This week, in science, our year 9 students have started mini projects focusing on environmental sustainability themes. Students selected topics of their choice and have made some wonderful posters which will be put on display. They then came up with their own research proposals into their chosen topic areas.

We have some amazing projects up and running, with students designing the optimal wind turbine, investigating water purification, modelling the impact of acid rain, and studying the use of fertilisers in agriculture. The students have been really enthusiastic in their project designs, showing great imagination and interest in how we interact with the world around us.

The projects have gotten off to a great start and we can’t wait to see them come to fruition. Watch this space!
