In geography this week, some of our year 8 students have been designing, making and testing earthquake proof buildings.
Spaghetti (dry!) and marshmallows were used to create strong structures that could withstand the earthquake test bed (a bed of jelly!). All students worked incredibly hard and this was a fantastic and very fun way to end our unit of work looking at tectonic hazards.
