Operations Manager

Salary: NJC Scale POA SCP 29-31, £33,486 to £35,336 per annum
Hours: 37 per week, 52 weeks per year
Permanent contract

The Governing Board of the Isle of Wight Education Federation is seeking to appoint an Operations Manager to oversee the efficient operation of the Facilities & ICT personnel. Reporting directly to the Director of Facilities and ICT, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective use of Federation resources in order to deliver new and maintain existing Facilities & ICT systems, to support the implementation of the strategic vision of the Federation Facilities & ICT service. Detailed Facilities and ICT specific knowledge of health, safety and security is essential for this role.

The Isle of Wight Education Federation has been established to harness the very best education practice within two secondary schools and a large A Level sixth-form centre of almost 500 students. The aim is to create a culture of continual improvement with increasingly successful outcomes for young people across the Island.

The Federation comprises of Carisbrooke College, Medina College and The Island VI Form and candidates should, therefore, be prepared to work across the three sites, as necessary.
