Geography students have been out this week to Yaverland and St. Helens collecting primary data for their Non-examined assessments (NEA).
It was a chilly start to the day but ended with blazing sunshine at Yaverland. Students carried our beach profiles, cliff profiles (graphic logs), sand dune profiles and also completed a biodiversity study of the sand dunes at Bembridge.
Students were fantastic in their approach to data collection. They worked independently, enthusiastically and represented The Island VI Form extremely well. They really did think about COVID and respected members of the public and each other whilst out and about.
