Omar Sharif last visited us in January to share his story of involvement with gangs and knife crime. After seeing friends go to prison and others tragically die, Omar turned his life around. He won a Pride of Britain award and now works as an inspirational speaker.
Students in years 8, 9 and 10 had workshops with Omar today (1st December) via Zoom, where they took away key messages about knife and gun crime, county lines and managing our emotions in a positive way.
Omar is a fantastic role model and motivated our students to consider how they can find ways to cope with pressure and achieve their best.
