Head of School’s Blog – 11th September 2020

11th September 2020

Dear Year 12 Students and Parents

Ordinarily, I would be welcoming you all to our VI Form community this week in a Year group assembly and a Parents’ Information Evening. Sadly as this is not currently possible, I have recorded a video version which can be viewed via the link below.

Please take the time to watch, as it contains lots of information about our expectations and how to settle into life here. It also covers important situations like Fire Drills and ALL students will need to know what to do when we hold our first drill next week.

I hope that all students have settled into their new routines and are enjoying being back after such an extended time away from learning. Please keep communicating with us, we are here to help and support all VI Form students, throughout their time with us. The next video will be shorter (I promise!) and will be shared in the same way, so please keep an eye on your email accounts.

Once again, Welcome to The Island VI Form, enjoy a safe and hopefully sunny weekend.

Mr Mumford
