Year 11 students had the most wonderful evening on Wednesday 6 July at their glamorous Oscars themed Prom night. After months of fundraising with car washing, raffles, cake sales and much more, the students’ vision came to life.

Students made grand entrances, arriving in sports cars, classic cars and even on horseback! They then took to the red carpet and walked through their hall of fame, detailing their journey over the past five years. Finally, they entered through a giant star to sit down for a meal together.

Oscars awards were presented to students for a vast array of achievements and memorable moments before Oliver Gray and Maisie Huntington were crowned Prom King and Queen. The night was concluded with a special DJ set from student Jaidon Whillier as year 11 took to the dancefloor and lit up the room with their dance moves.

The students really embraced the Oscars theme and went to town with the glamour of their outfits. It was a perfect evening for the most wonderful group of young people. We couldn’t be any prouder of them!
